Why Us
Future Minds is built on the experience and perspective of Dr. Rebekka Volmer, whose career combines cultural research, intercultural fieldwork, and institutional leadership across Europe, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.
Rebekka’s academic foundation lies in understanding culture and human behaviour. As a lecturer at Goethe University Frankfurt, the University of the Philippines, and ITB Bandung, she has taught in highly diverse learning environments and worked with students from a wide range of cultural, social, and linguistic backgrounds. Years of archaeological fieldwork in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Tanzania strengthened her ability to collaborate across cultures, navigate different norms, and build effective teams under real-world conditions.
This intercultural expertise is paired with extensive experience in higher-education management.
At the Max Planck Institute for Biophysics, Rebekka established the International Office from the ground up, created onboarding structures for global talent, and initiated diversity and inclusion programs that improved communication, access, and collaboration within one of Germany’s most international research environments.
Because her work bridges education, culture, and organizational design, Rebekka understands inclusion not as an abstract principle but as a series of practical, human-centred actions that shape how people feel, work, and belong.
Future Minds translates this expertise into simple, effective solutions for companies—especially small and growing organizations that want to strengthen inclusion without large budgets or complex structures.
We help build practices that work in everyday life: culturally grounded, actionable, and designed for real teams.
